Useful Information

Quality statement
Please note that all my products are carefully and individually handmade my me.
The nature of handcrafted ceramics is such that it may result in slight variation from one item to the next, but any variation does not affect the quality in any way.

In fact, I embrace these variations and believe that they add to the features, charm and story of a ceramic creation that will make your purchase truly unique.

Dimensions are stated in centimetres and reflect the tallest and widest points of each piece. The weight of each product is stated in grams.

Caring for your ceramics

As well as being decorative, my glazes are foodsafe and serve to make your ceramic piece watertight ... and therefore fit for purpose.

Handwashing in warm soapy water is recommended for all homeware items. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers as these can scratch the surface of the pottery. Please do not place your ceramic in the dishwasher or microwave.

Take care when storing your kitchen or dining ware to avoid chipping or breakages.

Always pick up, hold and place large ceramic pieces at the base. Picking up large pieces by the rim can result in breakages ... it's physics not a fault.

Raku pieces are for decoration or display only. Owing to the lower firing temperature and crackle glazes used, raku pottery should not be immersed in water. Simply use a damp cloth to wipe off any dust.
