Service Description

This pottery lesson is a taster session for beginners and takes place in my home studio in Langdon Hills, Essex. In this one-to-one session, I will guide and help you to make a simple pinch/coil pot. Or, if you prefer to try the potter's wheel, I will show you a few basic techniques with the aim of making a small pot. If you decide at the end of the lesson that you wish to fire and keep your pot, there will be an extra £5.00 bisque and glaze firing fee for this service. Or, hopefully you get bitten by the pottery bug and will decide to sign up for further lessons, which can be discussed. Before booking, please read my Terms and Conditions for pottery lessons and the cancellation policy. On the day of your confirmed session, please dress in clothes that you do not mind will become covered in clay. Remove your watch and all jewellery (bracelets and rings). To aid your enjoyment of the session, it is strongly recommended that long nails are trimmed as these impede the ability to work well with clay.
