Creative handbuilding sessions for all levels
Service Description
Are you looking for a different type of creative activity to do with family, friends or a craft group? I currently offer friendly and relaxed group workshops to learn how to handbuild clay dreamcatchers, wall plaques, or house numbers. - Prices start from £30 per person for a minimum of four and maximum of eight people - Duration is two to two-and-a-half hours depending on type of workshop and number of participants. - Suitable for beginners from 16 years upwards. After the workshop, the clay pieces will return to my home studio for firing in my kiln. The final pieces will be mailed to an agreed central address for onward distribution to all the participants. Please note that it may take up to four weeks for the fired pieces to arrive depending on the clay readiness for firing and the available kiln capacity. Cancellation Policy
The duration of a pottery taster lesson is one hour. Lessons and workshops generally take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. A 50% deposit is payable when booking a pottery lesson. The balance is payable by cash or card at the end of the lesson. Should the client wish to keep their pot, a £5.00 firing fee is payable per pot. The client will be contact when the pot is ready for collection. A pottery workshop takes place at a venue of the client's choosing, who must make all arrangement for booking and confirming such locations. The content, duration and cost of a workshop depends on the type of request, number of participants, and location. A 50% deposit is required when booking a workshop and the balance is payable at the end of the workshop. Cancellations are accepted and the deposit is refundable more than 14 days (cooling off period) prior to confirmed booking. No refund of deposit will be given where cancellations of confirmed bookings are received less than 14 days prior to confirmed booking. Ongoing pottery courses are available upon request and are subject to discussion and mutual agreement.
